Comprehensive Hearing Test
In Boucherville and Surrounding Areas

A comprehensive hearing test, performed by an audiologist, is the most accurate way to understand your hearing health. At Audiolys, we provide detailed hearing evaluations for patients in Boucherville and surrounding areas - assessing how well you hear sounds, understand speech, and manage everyday listening.

Your results also determine whether you are eligible for financial assistance through RAMQ, CNESST, DVA, or other programs. Learn more

Why a Hearing Test Matters

Hearing loss often develops gradually and can go unnoticed for longer than expected. A professional evaluation identifies changes early and helps us recommend next steps based on your individual situation. A hearing test can be particularly helpful if you:

Struggle to hear clearly in group conversations or noisy environments

Find background noise more difficult to manage than before

Need others to repeat themselves regularly

Experience ringing, buzzing, or hissing in your ears (tinnitus)

Want a clear baseline record of your hearing health

What Happens During Your Visit

Your appointment begins with a conversation about your hearing concerns, daily listening environments, and relevant health history. Our audiologist then performs a series of tests measuring how well you hear sounds at different pitches and volumes, and how clearly you understand speech. Testing is non-invasive and takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Once testing is complete, we review results with you in plain language. If hearing loss is identified, we explain what it means for your daily life and what the most appropriate next steps are.

Financial Assistance Programs

Depending on your results and personal situation, you may qualify for financial assistance covering part or all of hearing aid costs in Quebec:

  • RAMQ (Regie de l'assurance maladie du Quebec)

  • CNESST (Commission des normes, de l'equite, de la sante et de la securite du travail)

  • DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs / Anciens Combattants Canada)

  • Employer, union, or private insurance programs
